Eleanor Goldhar, GFAA Communications Committee Chair<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ms. Goldhar is a management executive in strategic planning, development, sponsorship, and communications marketing focused on cultural institutions including performing and visual arts, cultural urban development projects and encyclopedic and fine art museums and educational institutions.<\/p>\n

She works with both non- and for-profit companies, and individual clients, in the U.S., Canada and Europe. She led the public re-launch of the Onassis Cultural Center New York featuring music, philosophy, and exhibitions of contemporary art and archaeological antiquities, including programs in other major New York City cultural venues.<\/p>\n

Formerly, as the Deputy Director and Chief of Global Communications for the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and Museums, Ms. Goldhar led all of the Guggenheim\u2019s global initiatives. She directed Global Special Projects, Media and Public Relations, Marketing and Interactive departments including web redesign, digital and social media. She also led the Guggenheim New York\u2019s 50th<\/sup> Anniversary year celebrations and the Google\/YouTube Play global initiative.<\/p>\n

As a member of the Guggenheim Executive Cabinet, Eleanor counseled the Director\u2019s Office, the Board of Trustees, Curatorial, Development, Education, Legal and Visitor Services. High priority external clients included Google, BMW, UBS, The R.H.N. Ho Family Foundation, and both the Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA) and the Tourism Development Investment Corporation (TDIC) in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n

Educated at York University and the University of Toronto, Goldhar is an accredited member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), from which she received the Gold Quill Award for Excellence.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Juan Carlos Zaldivar, GFAA Digital Media Chair, Video Editor<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Cuban-born, Zald\u00edvar lives and works in the United States. He completed both his BFA and a Masters of Fine Arts at New York University\u2019s Tisch School of the Arts, where he has also taught as an adjunct faculty. He has also taught as full-time faculty at Miami International University\u2019s Institute of Art and Design.<\/p>\n

Zald\u00edvar started his film career as a sound editor and designer, his work can be heard in Academy Nominated films such as Ang Lee\u2019s \u201cSense and Sensibility;\u201d \u201cOn the ropes\u201d and on HBO\u2019s America Undercover, for which he garnered an Emmy nomination.<\/p>\n

His film and video art works have screened at many festivals worldwide and broadcast on PBS, ABC, IFC, Showtime and WE. He is the recipient of numerous grants and awards. His directing credits include \u201c90 Miles\u201d (PBS), \u201cThe Story of the Red Rose\u201d (Showtime), \u201cPalingenesis\u201d and \u201cSoldiers Pay\u201d (IFC), co-directed with David O. Russell (Three Kings, The Fighter) and Tricia Regan (Autism, the musical).<\/p>\n

He has served as a Juror for several major film festivals including the Sundance International Film Festival. He is a Sundance Film Institute alumnus. He has recently co-founded the Miami Filmmakers Collective with a generous grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Art Challenge grant and a matching grant from the Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs.<\/p>\n

His current projects and recent accomplishments include:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 tenured with Doc Society (previously Britdoc Foundation) as the Outreach Director for Good Pitch Miami 2017 https:\/\/goodpitch.org\/events\/gpmia2017<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 associate produced the theatrical feature doc “Buena Vista Social Club, Adios” 2017<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 co-produced the VR film “A history of Cuban dance” (Sundance & SXSW 2016)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 directed the VR doc entitled “SwampScapes” with Elizabeth Miller and Kim Grinfeder<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 is producing a feature-length art film<\/span><\/p>\n

Maarten Statius Muller, GFAA<\/em> International PR and Social Media\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Maarten Statius Muller, a graduate of the Design Academy in Eindhoven in the Netherlands considers himself a ‘design ambassador\u2019 transforming creativity into reality. He founded Statius PR, an international PR agency for contemporary applied arts based in Antwerp, Belgium. He mainly operates in the fields of domestic art, sculptural design, functional objects, interior design and architecture.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He provides management of strategy, (public) relations and press.\u00a0For his clients he aims for a better reputation, more recognition and success.<\/div>\n
Current clients include eg.: Binst Architects (urbanism, architecture, interior), B brand (interior, branding, objects), B scene (room for art), luxury retreat Masseria Antonio Augusto, Flanders District of Creativity and the Global Fine Art Awards.<\/div>\n

Past clients include Studio Job (16 years), sculptural designer Xavier Lust, and design pad Lensvelt Loft.<\/div>\n

He also is co-founder of the Design Art Night in association with Fosbury & Sons.<\/div>\n

Carolyn Cruz, PR Europe<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Carolyn Cruz is an integrated marketing professional with over 20 years of experience managing global corporate brands for industry leaders including Gap, Apple, Bank of America and Sun Microsystems.<\/p>\n

Her background in advertising and brand marketing includes both client and agency-side roles. She has extensive expertise in developing and producing national and global on-line and print advertising campaigns, in store materials, as well as managing global events. Carolyn has much experience managing both creative and media agencies.<\/p>\n

Her career has taken her from San Francisco to NYC, and she now lives in London where she pursues her passion of arts and culture.<\/p>\n

Carolyn speaks Spanish fluently and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Communication Studies and Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Natasha Gural, GFAA Editorial<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Natasha Gural is a professional writer and editor of long and short form journalism, cultural and art analysis, white papers, book proposals, ghostwriting, marketing, sales and investor relations materials. She is a multiple award-winning editor, reporter and writer with 20 years of experience in magazine, digital, wire, newspaper and multimedia journalism, including the successful launch of a magazine and multiple websites.<\/p>\n

Ms. Gural is currently an art writer for Forbes: Forbes Fine Art & The Business of Art<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Her experience also includes over a decade of management experience including running newsrooms and working closely with top executives on strategy and business development. She works closely with C-suite executives and key decision makers in client-facing roles.<\/p>\n

Other creative projects include Lubacka<\/em>, the novel, based largely on her Russian mother’s early childhood as a prisoner in Nazi concentration and work camps in Poland and Germany and a displaced persons camp in Germany.<\/p>\n

Ms. Gural is a graduate of Oxford University and lives in New York City.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Cornelia Lauf, GFAA Editorial<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Cornelia Lauf \u00a0is an art historian and curator based in Rome, Italy.\u00a0\u00a0 She earned her Ph.D. at Columbia University, and holds a B.A. from Oberlin College.<\/p>\n

Throughout her career, Dr. Lauf has curated many exhibitions including Artist\/Author<\/em>, Contemporary Artist\u2019s Books<\/em>, (American Federation of Arts, New York), Konstantin Gricic<\/em> (Casa di Goethe, Rome; Harvard University, Cambridge; Klassik Stiftung, Weimar) Wall to Wall: Carpets by Artists,<\/em> (Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland);\u00a0Indeed: Certificates of Authenticity<\/em> (with Susan Hapgood).<\/p>\n

Dr. Lauf was formerly the editor-in-chief at Imschoot, Uitgevers, in Belgium; she co-founded Three Star Books, Paris (2005-2015), and has produced many publications with contemporary artists.\u00a0 She has lectured at Centre Pompidou; Dia Center for the Arts; Getty Center for the Arts and Humanities; Tate; Museum of Modern Art; and Musei Civici, Venice, among others, and has taught at LUISS; IUAV, Venice, and is currently Visiting Professor at John Cabot University, Rome.<\/p>\n

Her specialty is commissioned projects involving the artist, client, fabricators, and institution.\u00a0 For these projects, she has managed the production and installation of many unique, and often functional, works of art.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Edie Meyer, Marketing Committee<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Edie Meyer, a native New Yorker hailing from Long Island, currently heads the US Business Development for Vastari. Vastari is a London-based technology company that connects private art collections with museum curators in order to facilitate art loans.<\/p>\n

She began her career in marketing at The New Yorker<\/em> magazine and subsequently worked for a number of technology start-ups. Ms. Meyer previously lived in London for nine years, specializing in Business Development for several art media companies including Art Asia Pacific<\/em> Magazine, Louise\u00a0Blouin Media and Art World<\/em> magazine.<\/p>\n

Ms. Meyer has a BA from Lehigh University and an MBA from Fordham University. She is on the boards of the Queens Botanical Gardens and The Waterfront Center, and is an active member of ArtTable and POWarts.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Viktoria Szanto<\/strong>,\u00a0GFAA Marketing and Young Visionaries Committees<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

A native of Hungary, Ms. Szanto is a Master\u2019s candidate in Arts and Culture Management at King\u2019s College London. She received her BA in Art History and Comparative Literature student at the University of St. Andrews, where among other activities, she was a columnist for the school magazine and contributing writer for their art publication.<\/p>\n

As part of her studies, she spent time abroad at\u00a0Leiden University in the Netherlands, within various departments from Documentary film to Southeast Asian art.<\/p>\n

She has volunteer and had internship experience at Christies\u2019 London, the Scottish National Trust and St. Andrews Preservation Trust Museum.<\/p>\n

Digital Marketing\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Jenna Agres, GFAA Graphic Design\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Jenna Agres is a student at the University of Florida, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design. She is a recent graduate of Miami\u2019s DASH, Design and Architecture Senior High.<\/p>\n

Aspiring to incorporate her passion for design in a future career, joining the Global Fine Art Awards team as the Graphic Design Intern for over three years has been a very beneficial and rewarding experience.<\/p>\n

Jenna enjoys the process of ideas, as well as incorporating a strong layout, aesthetically pleasing color scheme, and trending typography in her work.\u00a0Aside from design, Jenna loves experimenting with new media and techniques, such as darkroom photography, India ink, and book binding.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Hogan Fritz, GFAA Video Production \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Artistic producer, enthusiast and social media aficionado, Hogan Fritz lives in New York City where he now works for William Morris Endeavors. Previously, he completed several internships with major New York television productions, including “Saturday Night Live” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Hogan\u00a0 graduated from Marymount Manhattan College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Journalism..<\/p>\n

He has also worked in theatre and film and has been awarded several accolades including Finalist at the International Youth Silent Film Festival and the ACMY Theatre Awards.<\/p>\n

Hogan’s world revolves around the arts and he takes pride in his passion for the universal appreciation and strive for a global artistic connection.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Felipe Gehrke, GFAA Creative and Art Direction<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Brazilian native Felipe Gehrke is a Marketing Analyst with international experience in the creative and marketing world across three continents.<\/p>\n

Felipe received a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro in 2009 and has worked as a creative and marketing analyst since then, with experiences at Coca-Cola, Sapient Nitro Miami and Ogilvy Paris.<\/p>\n

His most recent academic achievement was graduating from Miami Ad School in 2013 as an Art Director, a two-year program based in Miami with practical training and studying abroad.<\/p>\n

Felipe is the winner of the 2015 GFAA new logo global contest, and has contributed significantly to the rebranding initiatives of the GFAA program.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Remi Koukou,\u00a0GFAA Communications and Digital Marketing Committee<\/i><\/b><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n
Remi joined Team GFAA while working as the event coordinator for the National Arts Club.\u00a0 She became Co-Chair of the GFAA Young Visionaries Committee, and is now utilizing her social media experience to direct the GFAA instagram account. A true “art girl,” she has worked for several galleries and cultural\u00a0institutions, most recently Levy Gorvy in New York. Ms. Koukou is currently an Associate at Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate. She received her Bachelor’s in Art in 2015 from Boston University, where she majored in Art History, Criticism and Conservation and Public Relations.<\/div>\n
