GFAA Nominees with the most votes for the Youniversal Award earned the right to compete for the GFAA YOU-2 Award.
As many ardent art fans experienced this week, getting to the polls was challenging. High levels of simultaneous voting caused overload to the GFAA website. To address this issue, the GFAA Team decided to conduct a second YOU-2 poll. This poll took place during two days from Sunday May 17 6:00 a.m. through May 18 9:00 p.m Eastern. The winner of this second YOU-2 poll will be designated CO-WINNER of the YOU-2 Award.
NOTE: Massive voting may result in an overloading of our system again. Thank you for your patience! Please do bear with us and remember that we are a small nonprofit with mostly volunteers. The GFAA program supports the art world with no commercial interest.
In GFAA history, there has been one precedent of CO-WINNERS.. in 2017 the GFAA Judges were split between two finalists and the group decided to name two deserving nominees co-winners.
Among these Youniversal Award Finalists are the winners of the Youniversal Award – Picasso and Antiquity. Line and Clay, and the first Co-Winner of the YOU-2 Award Homeless Souls. These winners and all of the juried awards were revealed during the Award Ceremony event presented on Facebook Monday May 11 1:00 pm. All 99 Nominees were celebrated and featured on our youtube video of the ceremony

Who will be crowned Best Exhibitions or Global Artist of the Year? Thank you for casting your votes! The winners of the two people’s choice awards were announced on MAY 11 LIVE on Facebook at the Awards Announcement!
(All 99 GFAA Nominees were eligible to win Youniversal. The GFAA Nominee receiving the most votes during the official voting period will be crowned Youniversal Award. Rules: Voting on GFAA website from May 1st 6:00 a.m. through May 7th, 9:00 p.m. Eastern; 1 vote per person per day)
The YOU-2 Award is also decided on by the public. Only the GFAA Nominees with the most votes for the Youniversal Award are eligible to win.
Finalists were announced on May 9th. YOU-2 voting took place May 10th, 6:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m. Eastern. Co-Winner second round of voting took place May 17 -18, 2020
