5:00 pm | The Nomination Announcement Live Streaming
The evening will commence with the live-streaming official public announcement of the 2018 GFAA Nominees, which will be co-hosted by Jennifer Francis, GFAA Marketing Committee Chair, and GFAA Founder and President Judy Holm; and presented by Betsie Piussan, GFAA Nominating Committee Chair and Peter Trippi, Editor in Chief of Fine Art Connoisseur magazine, GFAA Executive Committee member and past Judge.
Our guests will be the first in the world to learn which exhibitions and installations from around the world are in the running for the 5th Annual GFAA Awards. The research is completed, the Nominating Committee has presented the slate to the Judges, and the Judges will now officially acknowledge this year’s Nominees. Last year, after a formal review of more than 2,000 potential Nominees, 85 Nominees were selected from 28 countries across 6 continents. We anticipate an equally diverse and elite group of Nominees this year.
5:30 – 8:00 pm | The Silent Auction & Cocktail Party
Meet and mingle with previous Nominees and celebrate our new Nominees! Guests will enjoy an open bar and sumptuous hors d’oeuvres provided by the National Arts Club, while bidding on exciting silent auction lots. Help support the future of GFAA and bid on these packages, which range from art work to lifestyle experiences.
Throughout the day and evening, corporate sponsors and institutional partners will exhibit their products and services, allowing our guests to learn more about their businesses.
